using VisualDOE 4.0 one of only seven software packages
approved by the IRS for energy saving tax credits.
It is a fourth generation Windows application that enables
architects and engineers to evaluate the energy savings of
building design options. The program uses the DOE-2.1E
hourly simulation tool as the calculation engine so that
energy use and peak demand are accurately evaluated on an
